Murrieta National Little League Challenger Division Program
MNLL Challenger Division believes every player, regardless of their abilities, should have the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of participating in baseball. We are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment, where individuals with disabilities can develop their physical abilities, build self-confidence, and foster lasting community connections.
In our adaptive program, we strive to provide an exceptional experience to empower our players. We collaborate to help them triumph when they face adversity and celebrate their newfound strengths and abilities.
Our program is designed for individuals aged 4 to 22, with developmental, cognitive, and physical disabilities.

Registration includes:

Registration and Fees:
Challenger division fees are $100 (reduced rate) with no late registration fee. Sign up early for a $20 discount! Space is limited, so be sure to sign up and secure your spot today!
Practices and Games:
Practices are held once a week (evening) at Hunt Field (41810 Jupiter St., Murrieta, CA)
Games are held on Saturday (early morning) at Los Alamos Sports Park (3700 Ruth Ellen Way, Murrieta, CA)
Dates and times:
You will be notified of practice dates and times once teams are established.
Equipment:
Adaptive and athletic equipment is provided. We have an assortment of gloves, bats, and helmets. Please let us know if you have a left handed player so we can be sure to provide the appropriate gear.
Compassionate Coaches:
Our volunteer coaches know that your player has individualized needs. It is important that we are made aware of your player's preferred communication style, limitations and potential aversions. We have a variety of approaches and can coach different experience levels. We build character and camaraderie among participants. We are dedicated to making visible improvements while learning the fundamental skills of baseball.
Our Community:
We encourage a community of positive role models, so bring your family, friends, care providers and teachers to cheer on your player. ABA is also welcome. Please be sure to complete the required background check to have them support your player.
Challenger Division Volunteers:
We are all volunteers, collaborating towards the same vision; to see our players thrive. So come out and get involved! We encourage you to provide us with your valuable feedback. You can make the difference in our inclusive efforts to provide an experience of a lifetime.
All field and dugout volunteers must have a completed background clearance and badge to be permitted with the players.
Challenger Buddy Volunteers:
Our Challenger Division is always seeking dynamic volunteers for our players with disabilities playing adaptive baseball. Snack Bar Duty:
We do not have snack bar duty during our season. However, we encourage parents to participate in one to two league events to support our program.
Additional Information:
-Feel free to bring your own sensory friendly gear.
-Please have your player wear comfortable (closed toed) shoes or cleats.
-Practice t-shirts and pants can be in any color for easy care or level of comfort to the player.
-Uniforms can be worn on Saturday for games.
-The player agent or coach will reach out to parents with all of the pertinent information (including schedules) AFTER evaluations.
-Evaluations are not required, but are encouraged to give players the opportunity to get familiar with their surroundings & gear.
