MNLL Season Update 3/18/2020

Good afternoon MNLL families,
As we are all in hiatus over the current status of our nation we wanted to reach out to you all and give you an update.

The city of Murrieta has locked down all field allocations until April 30th 2020. Little League International has also extended their lock down date to May 11th, 2020.

Little League International Statement : "With the most recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Little League International Board of Directors and staff is now strongly advising all its local Little League programs to suspend/delay their Little League seasons through no earlier than Monday, May 11. We implore you to follow this recommendation and suspend all Little League activities through no earlier than May 11".

We have been in constant communication with our District 28 staff as well as Western Region and Little League International.
As of this morning we have been assured that Little League will be getting the season back on track at some point as soon as we can.

We at MNLL have a full intent of getting our season in once we are given the green light to start playing games. Until that time comes we will be following the recommendations of LLI, Western Region and our D28 staff.

We know that a lot of us are aching to get back onto the field but keep in mind that there are a lot of factors involved that we at MNLL need to consider before we can actually do that.

We ask that you please keep an eye on our website, FB page and the pages of LLI for latest information.

We hope to see you all soon and please stay safe.

Thank you,
MNLL Board of Directors
